A friend has a new line of jewelry out and I absolutely love it. She showed me her first piece a few months ago and I have wanted one ever since. Last week she launched her website/online store and tonight I finally got my heart necklace.
YAY! love love love it.
The dictator loves it too and also bought a femur necklace for himself.....
I'm hoping maybe there will be a clavicle bracelet under the tree for Xmas..........

Okay people help me out here....

At work the other day we had an iced clear drink that I absolutely loved. I'm trying to google it to figure it out but nothing is coming up... This is the best way I can describe it...

- It was clear - I thought it was just water until I had a sip
- it had lots of ice in it
- it had cubes of watermelon in it
- it had lots of mint leaves in it
- it was very sweet

Ideas? Suggestions? When I google it I come up with drinks of blended watermelon and iced teas very dark in color.... I must have more....
If I ever see the caterers again I will ask but not sure when that will be....

can't stop listening to these guys - borderline stalker behavior here...

Working on a new pattern for my etsy shop. It is based on a favourite skirt I have had for eons.... This was the first attempt and I love it. I've tweaked the pattern a bit and am working on the instructions now... I have a feeling I will have more of these before the summer is over.....

Anyone want to guess how many metres of grosgrain are in this bow???? Let's just say someone found the wide grosgrain and it ain't cheap. But this bow is so fabulous that certain person wouldn't want to skimp on it. Just saying. It's not me, it's my friend. I swear.

Had the photoshoot today for my wearable art. AWESOME! I have such amazingly talented generous friends. I want to show photos but I can't! Can't post any pics until I find out if it makes it to the big show AND THEN if it does not until the show opens in Sept... so you will just have to wait...

From Vegas 2010

Had an awesome time with my lady friends in Vegas.... Two of us don't drink and I think I only gambled away $3.00 but apparently there is a few more things to do there. We did lots of walking - LOTS. Lots of staying up late. eating of Mexican food (my favourite) Drinking of starbucks (they were everywhere) Shopping.... Sitting by the pool (but only the first two days because then it rained)
Our last night we went to see Ka. (Hence the picture of the crazy guy below with blue hair.) It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen - including the 5 or so cirque shows I have seen before. This one blew them all away. I think everyone needs to go there and see it. It can't travel - the stage is 15 stories high. Since being home I have watched the entire thing on you tube over and over. I've just ben told there is a new cirque/Robert Lepage collaboration opening in Montreal this summer, Totem. The touring dates aren't all announced yet, hopefully it will come a little closer to home.
I'm still exhausted. Slept most of the day yesterday and only woke up at noon today.
Good little Holiday. Thanks T. It will be in my memories forever!!! (Best bachelorette party ever - that is what they kept telling me it was, only I never had to wear a silly hat or t-shirt that said bride on it)
