I almost have a new pattern done for my etsy shop!!!!!

Soon my pretties.... I just need a sunny day so I can take some photos of the finished object. Well ok. Then it might not be soon as the sunshine doesn't seem to come around these parts much.

The Darkness is coming out with a new album in August. (my other future husband) I can barely wait...

And now I find out that Stars is coming out with a new album in Sept!!! I'm GOING TO EXPLODE.

Usually when ONE of these groups puts out a new album I have it on repeat/shuffle FOR A YEAR and quite happily listen to it every single day over and over and over. Heck - the darkness hasn't had a new album in almost 10 years and I still listen to them every single day. How am I going to handle two albums in the span of 2 months. Explode I tell you. EXPLODE.

My other future husband cracks me up. (read the tweets from the bottom up or it will make NO sense. It still might not make sense)

Torquil Campbell isn't my future husband but he still makes me pretty happy. I should find a role for him in my made up fantasy life. Best friend??? Co worker??? Guy who constantly writes me love songs and I keep breaking his heart??? He does write great break up songs....

He's been tweeting lyrics all week.... I love it.

Really you couldn't find two totally different bands. If you like The Darkness you probably hate Stars and vice versa. It's going to be difficult to come up with a playlist that works for both of them. Sigh. The things I have to deal with. My life is SO HARD.

I'm back... Procrastinating. It's been so long since I've blogged the format has al changed and I'm messing things up.... Here is a little video I made of our dolphin foot push photos. I'm pretending if you flip through them really fast you can pretend it is a movie....

So I was babbling about mexico. I could continue. But really. you can just go to the link attached to the photos and look at our entire vacation for yourselves. We had fun. It felt like we did alot more this time and I actually was able to relax. Last year I couldn't sleep because of the waves - THEY WERE SO LOUD. This year the waves weren't a problem but the bugs were. I would wake up with my legs covered in bug bites. My attempts at covering myself in bug spray before bed weren't successful so I would lie awake wondering if every little itch was another bug eating me.... 

There also was the problem of the crabs - they didn't keep me awake but I did find them humorous.

I'd hear tick scratch tick tick scratch and wake up to find them climbing the wall next to my bed! I didn't know crabs could climb walls with those weird stick legs... Minou loved chasing them around and somehow managed to not get her nose pinched.

I bought some fabulous stuff to hang on the wall but haven't taken any photos of it - I should. I will.  Soon.  Maybe after a nap.

Wow. I'm still a lame blogger! Done the feature film I was on - I think. Every time I think I am done they call me back for one more day. I'm pretty sure I am done now. Had lots of fun with the stunt boys - maybe I few of them will show up on the next one. Giggled even more with the costume girls. Managed to collect a few bizarre stories about extras too. Remind me to tell you about the guy with shingles.... yup. Shingles....
 Now I am awaiting the start of season 2 of once upon a time.... YAY! We are back. Looks like we will be off to a busy start. YAY! I kind of feel like I have been at summer camp while working on the film - spending days outside in the woods, getting up early, eating off of paper plates. But now it is time to get back to school - a desk! Nice clothes! All my friends! I haven't bought any new pencil crayons and markers yet - there is still time....
 We managed to squeeze in a trip to Mexico to. Back to the same place we got married. I think we are going to make this an annual thing, we love it there sooo much. We went to Xel-Ha this time - TWICE. AMAZING. We zip lined into the water, snorkled, swam with dolphins, tubed through the mangroves, ate, ate some more, snorkled some more, ate even more...

We spent a day at the Coba ruins and climbed the big temple. It was hot - no big surprise. But I stupidly left my water at the bottom with my dad. When I got to the top I was a little freaked and decided I had to get down quickly and have my water. I think I should have gone up again as the temple was almost empty of people by the time we were leaving.

We spent alot of time on our secluded private beach. Boogie boarding and reading. I read 10 books while we were gone. I haven't read that much in years. Minou and Birdie were with us and seemed to enjoy it there much more this year. I think they understood that we weren't abandoning them there and were able to relax just like us. (Last year minou spent most of her time sitting in my suitcase - this year she would sprawl out in the sand and not pay any attention to our movements)

 oh... my attempt to blog has just been interrupted by the fact it is way past my bedtime... I'll try and come back. Maybe tomorrow. ;)

I'm done season 1 of once upon a time. Happy for the break but sad to wait and see if we are all going to be back next year.... Got our wrap gift of a Granny's mug and am quite enjoying snuggly mornings with the pups and a green tea latte.

But don't let that fool you into thinking I'm going to be a better blogger! HAH! I'm starting on a feature this week - on set, even worse hours then before...

--- I'll take a brief second here to thank Mig aka Bashful and the lovely Marmot people for my new jacket.... Sadly and embarrassingly as a costumer I should have gone a size larger but that hasn't stopped me from wearing it. It will probably come in very useful this week when we are outside all day and night..... (I'm in denial about how big I actually am....)---


Hmmmm.. what have I been up to since the last time...

- I've managed to squeeze in a few sewing projects over the past few months. A new dress for the wrap party. No photos though - it was too dark in the restaurant. Which is probably good for most people - there was free drink tickets ;)

- Got to see the Darkness a few weeks ago - well month ago now.... IT WAS AMAZING. I have such a huge crush on Justin Hawkins and his curly mustache. We had to get tickets from a scalper as the show was sold out before I even found out about it. I was such a goofy nervous nelly about it but all was good! Hope they don't wait another 10 years to come back. I'm anxiously awaiting there new album....


- The dictator and I are totally into the tv show Damages right now. JUST starting season 2 so don't give us any spoilers... Noah Bean who plays David conner was on Once Upon a Time and is absolutely the nicest guy in person. Sad he is dead and we probably won't be seeing much of him in season 2 Damages. Patty Hewes is so EVIL!

- We've been cross country skiing alot UNTIL RECENTLY - golf season has started... I've lost my husband again to the small white ball. I'm hoping we can get out to Whistler one more time - there was 40cm of new snow in one night this week!!!!!

- it's almost stanley cup time again - GO CANUCKS! Can't beliee they lost to the useless flames last night - accidentally typed lames - kind of the same thing.


The girls are both doing well... Minou is getting old and the vet wanted to pull her teeth two front teeth - I cried, such a horrible parent - but we had them cleaned and will see if they can last a little bit longer. There are some lovely ladies in town who will clean their teeth without putting them under.... Other then that nothing to exciting in their lives. We didn't sign up for agility after Xmas so they are terribly bored but it is at the WORST time - middle of Sunday afternoon.....




- We are headed back to Mexico in May and I am soooo looking forward to it... I will be ready for the break. This time I'm planning a trip to Xel-Ha - swimming with Dolphins!!! Hee hee!!! Bought an underwater camera to capture it all. CAN NOT WAIT.

That's all I can think of for now... I should stop procrastinating. I'm supposed to be exercising but I REALLY don't want to. I've put all the the pre wedding weight back on. YUCK. Stupid job where I have to eat out everyday.... Oh well....

Still alive. Still love my job.
Another Friday night being the last one at the office. Another Saturday full of naps. (3 to be exact although the last one wasn't very long as a certain chubby puppy wanted supper)

Not much new to type about.

Have been doing a few personal sewing projects that have been gathering dust for awhile. Some successful others are going straight in the bin. Nothing worth posting photos of. Hoping soon to have enough energy to get back in the wearable art game. I'm missing two years in a row and it makes me sad.

Been trying to Xcountry ski. I'm not very good at it but found out at a lesson in Whistler that it was partially due to the wrong equipment. Wrong skis and poles that were too long. I'm in the process of fixing that and when we go out next week I hope to see some improvement. I still managed to have a wonderful time last weekend. It's been so warm I was skiing in a tshirt! (Kinda hoped for a suntan but that was wishful thinking) I think my legs have finally recovered and the bruises are gone.

Bought Abba dance for my wii. SO MUCH FUN. No one has yet been witness to my amazing moves but I'm planning a show down in a few weeks with one of the ladies. The dictator is not allowed to be home.

I AM still alive. This may surprise some of you.....
Right about the time of the last post I started working full time on the tv show once upon a time. I'm one of four buyer/assistant types. I love my job but apparently it leaves me exhausted. To exhausted to post on my neglected blog.
This Friday I was the last on at the office and by last one I don't just mean in my department. I mean on the whole show. doing my also neglected petty cash.
I've dubbed myself Snow Bright as one of my jobs is dressing the dwarves. I love them!!!! I would never wish to have seven children though as it is exhausting!!!! I can't imagine having to find clothes @for them 7 days a week.. (don't get me wrong - they aren't children, they are grown men and super sweet and easy to work with, there is just a lot of them)

Life is good though. As I said I love my job. I'm still super happily married to the wonderful dictator - 6,months!!!!! Minou and birdie are as goofy and loving as ever.

Now that i've remembered my password perhaps I'll try and do better over the coming weeks. Was going to add a photo but I'm on my iPad and apparently I can't do that... Poops!
